A Bit About Me

I've built startups, invested in them, and even sold one. I thrive on creating companies and technologies that change the way people live.

A lifelong entrepreneur, I have started small businesses since before I could reach the kitchen counter.

While I am not a programmer, I am passionate about using technology to dramatically improve the world we live in. I'm also an outspoken "lifehacker," avid speedreader, animal lover, fitness enthusiast, amateur photographer, and all-around eclectic.
A Silicon Valley Native, I am now proudly based in Tel Aviv.

My most successful venture to date has been Jlevi StreetWerks, Inc., a business I started at the age of 16 and grew into a multi million dollar mainstay in the automotive enhancements market niche. JleviSW was rated Inc Magazine's 1,221st fastest growing private company in America in 2011. Shortly thereafter, the company was successfully sold.

In addition to this, I run a side business that develops eCommerce extensions for small and medium sized businesses.

Advisor & Angel Investor

Since selling my own startup, I've been fortunate enough to meet and advise and invest in some incredibly smart, talented entrepreneurs in a number of different market niches.

Because I've built a multi-faceted web business from the ground up, I understand the struggles these entrepreneurs face, and can lend my own insights on a variety of topics from product development and strategy to marketing and customer acquisition.

Unconventional MBA

While obtaining an MBA may seem a bit unconventional for a serial entrepreneur, particularly in the fast-moving high-tech space, it was a lifelong dream of mine. In 2013, I had the privilege of attending the renowned INSEAD Business School, whereby I studied in both France and Singapore with students from 90 countries.

This unique experience furthered my desire to live and work internationally, and to seek opportunities far beyond my comfort zone.

My Work

What I've Done

A true serial entrepreneur, I've enjoyed a great number of diverse projects over the last 10 years. Some have been wildly successful, many have not (after all, my blog is titled "Fail Harder"). From managing the product development of complex software software systems to overseeing leadership, I like to keep a full plate, and to work with creative and skilled people. I'm also a big proponent of passive income!

My Skills

Having spent my entire career in entrepreneurship, I have developed an eclectic skill set and experience in many different disciplines.

Intl. Business Development

I've done business with over 100 countries.

Customer Development

I'm a devout practitioner of all things "Lean."

Product Management

I've helped develop both hardware and software.

Leadership & Management

I've lead startups & a nonprofit with no mutinies to date.

Marketing & Branding

I've built brands from scratch in 6 industries.

Growth Hacking

Yeah, that's a real thing, and I do it with pleasure.

Creative Thinking

A nice term for "crazy ideas that sometimes work."

General Hustling

I have a record of doing what it takes to get results.

Many young entrepreneurs are often driven to forego formal education. I feel very blessed to have been able to learn both in and out of some of the world's finest institutions of higher learning.
